Built by Someone Who Lives This Language
Rombek Logworong is a South Sudanese Australian author, curriculum developer, and language systems architect focused on documenting and structuring under-resourced languages.
Born and raised in South Sudan, his work centres on Juba Arabic — transforming a widely spoken but under-documented language into clear, teachable systems. His approach combines lexicography, structured grammar modelling, and AI-assisted workflows to build practical dictionaries, learning frameworks, and digital language platforms.
He is the creator of the Beginner Juba Arabic system and founder of the Loponi Language Series, focused on turning real spoken language into clear, scalable learning systems for local and global learners alike.
“Juba Arabic isn't a simplified version of something else. It's a living language with its own grammar, its own logic, and its own place in South Sudanese life. It deserves a serious course.”
ArabiJuba is the digital platform built around this work — bringing a structured Juba Arabic curriculum online through flashcards, quizzes, and guided practice.
As a South Sudanese Australian educator and builder, Rombek works across curriculum design, digital learning systems, and AI-assisted language tools, with a focus on building high-quality educational resources for underrepresented languages.
